A chain is as strong as its weakest chain. This proves its worth in practice time and again. That is why ALFING took the deliberate decision to carry out the complete process chain for manufacturing crankshafts in-house. Thus we can modify individual operations at any time, together with the preceding and/or subsequent operations. This enables close integration of all the steps of the manufacturing chain under the most efficient conditions concerning development, manufacture, inspection, quality assurance, project management, throughput time and – last but not least – cost.
The chain ends with the final delivery of the fully assembled finished crankshaft ready for the engine.
