Since the early 1920s ALFING has been manufacturing large crankshafts to the highest and most innovative standard. We are now the largest independent manufacturer of 1,000 to 8,000 mm long crankshafts in the world. And the whole process chain is carried out in-house: from die manufacture, forging, heat treatment, mechanical machining, surface treatment and assembly, including our own laboratories and equipment for material, strength and fatigue testing (torsional and bending fatigue testing) – all innovative technologies required are available at our site.
