Postprocessing of components ...
... tempering, measuring, marking

  • Tempering
    • using residual heat (auto-tempering / self-tempering)
      This is a cost-effective and space-saving hardening technology jointly developed by ALFING. Residual heat does not require the additional cost for purchasing a separate furnace and the running costs are low. Neither does it require additional maintenance costs as it is integrated in the process.

  • Total Indicator Run-out (TIR)
    • at a separate station
    • inside the hardening machine and process cell resp.
    • as a standalone component with
      measurement at different locations and
      using different clamping methods

  • Hardness measurement
    • inside the hardening machine (integrated solution)
    • at a separate station (separate solution)
    • with measuring data evaluation and feedback
      to the hardening process if required

  • Identification
    • by various techniques (bar code, data-matrix code, etc.)
    • by quality data in the form of individual codes
    • by numerical code with related stored process data
