Especially the DTM, the Nascar Series and Formula One are pleased to make use of this expertise.
But also crankshafts which are later to be used in series production "pass through our hands" at the development stage. We support our customers' development departments through simultaneous engineering to achieve optimal results. For example, ALFING is able to use its manufacturing technology to divide up the specified tolerances into several zones. After mounting the crankshaft in the engine block, this tolerance optimization can be used to achieve smaller overall tolerances and thus better performance of the whole system.
