Before final inspection, the crankshafts are washed in ultra-modern washing stations, thus minimizing residual dirt. During final inspection, all specified dimensions are checked again and electronically recorded.
In addition, a visual inspection is carried out and after passing this the finished product is stamped. The measurement results and other data specified by the customer are engraved on the part by laser (Data Matrix Code).
Finally the crankshafts are conserved and packed in dirt & corrosion resistant packaging ready for dispatch worldwide.
These final quality tests are carried out in a fully air-conditioned, dust-free (overpressure) washing, testing & packing area.
