ALFING automotive Crankshafts ...
... Partner to world famous motor manufacturers

At the start, the large crankshafts were the main focus of ALFING’s business activities. In the 1920s, aircraft engines purred next to the cabins of Zeppelin airships and quickly made the ALFING name known all over the world.
But by 1932 a completely different engine with an ALFING crankshaft was racing from victory to victory.

With a 6 cylinder, 300 HP engine going at more than 235 kmh – enclosed in an aerodynamic body and with Manfred von Brauchitsch at the wheel – the Mercedes-Benz SSKL was first to cross the finishing line at the Berlin Avus.

Ever since then crankshafts from ALFING have made their mark in car engines around the world. Crankshafts up to 1000 mm long, running at high speeds and at the same time with high fatigue strength, is where our expertise lies. This is also what our customers have come to depend on. Well-known brands with a long tradition and exclusive high-performance carmakers are among our customers. We are not focused on mass production but rather on high quality; and that's the way we want it.
