In order to be completely sure that our crankshafts will withstand the toughest conditions, at regular intervals we have to do something which we don’t like doing at all:
testing the crankshaft to destruction.
Only in this way can we carry out an intensive investigation of the interior of the crankshaft. The "destruction" may only be carried out in our own laboratories – and only there. It must never happen in the customer's engine!
