Managing directors Karl Kessler and Franz Dopfer Jr. registered their new company as Maschinenfarbrik ALFING in the Aalen Companies’ Register on 25 April 1911.
Over the past 100 years ALFING has grown from small beginnings with just four employees to become a medium-sized family business manufacturing crankshafts in Aalen-Wasseralfingen from 0.3 to 8.0 m in length and supplying customers worldwide.
